Summary

Leads complex construction projects. Ensures that integrated project management processes are aligned with industry best practices and are consistently applied across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Steer large-scale construction projects from initiation to completion ensuring all aspects are managed efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor project teams overseeing their work providing guidance and fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
  • Provide strategic insight to projects identifying opportunities potential challenges and innovative solutions to optimize outcomes.
  • Oversee budget allocations resource utilization and expenses ensuring projects adhere to financial constraints.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication with stakeholders presenting project status updates and potential roadblocks.
  • Utilize your experience to identify assess and manage project risks adapting strategies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and manage complex project schedules coordinating activities and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Deliver clear and concise project reports highlighting progress milestones and areas requiring attention.

You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Project Management Engineering or a related field
  • 7 years of hands-on experience in Construction Management Project Management or a closely related role demonstrated substantial leadership responsibilities
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
  • United States Citizenship
  • Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

We Value

  • Masters degree in construction management project management engineering or a related field.
  • PMP certification or its equivalent.
  • Experience collaborating with Federal Government clients.
  • A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $100M.
  • A solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
