Job Title: Senior SAP - ISU Billing & EDM Functional Consultant

Overview:

POSITION OVERVIEW The BRIGHT program represents a large-scale SAP-ISU EDM billing transformation for Entergy one of the leading utility providers in the US. This opportunity places you directly into the final - and most technically demanding - phase of delivery. The core focus centers on configuring and validating sophisticated billing functionality spanning multi-OpCo rate logic and intricate billing riders.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure and validate advanced rate structures billing riders and rate categories within SAP-ISU EDM across multiple operating companies
• Lead design and solutioning workshops covering SMS interruptible service and specialized rate contract riders
• Partner with developers and Product Owners to convert utility business requirements into precise technical configurations
• Review AI-generated base requirements to surface gaps and capture edge-case rate logic scenarios
• Drive Functional Unit Testing (FUT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) while owning defect resolution across billing modules
• Maintain thorough documentation of configuration decisions and design rationale within the program knowledge base

TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS

• SAP-ISU Billing Configuration (complex rates/schemas) - 8 years
• SAP EDM (Energy Data Management) / RTP Interface - 5 years
• Utility Industry Meter-to-Cash (M2C) experience - 5 years

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

• Multi-jurisdictional and Multi-OpCo billing logic expertise
• Agile delivery experience (Sprint planning and refinement)
• Offline bill print configuration knowledge
• Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE The right person for this role is a seasoned SAP expert capable of plugging into a fast-moving agile team from day one - no hand-holding required. They bring deep technical proficiency in demand charges and interval meter data complemented by a proactive clear communication style well-suited to a high-velocity transformation program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Configure advanced rate structures billing riders and rate categories within SAP-ISU EDM and Billing modules
• Work alongside business SMEs and Product Owners to translate complex utility requirements into workable technical solutions
• Lead FUT and SIT efforts for billing-related defects and enhancements
• Offer expert technical guidance on multi-OpCo rate variations and the broader complexities of utility billing

TOP HARD SKILLS

• SAP-ISU Billing & Rate Design (Level 8/Expert) - 8 years required
• SAP EDM/RTP Interface - 5 years required
• Complex Utility Rider Logic (Demand/TOU) - 5 years required

NICE-TO-HAVES

• Prior exposure to Entergy or a comparable large-scale US Utility operating company
• Hands-on experience reviewing and validating AI-generated requirement documentation
• Familiarity with offline bill print processes and customization

DISQUALIFIERS

• Purely theoretical SAP knowledge with no hands-on configuration background
• No working experience with Interval Meter Data or Energy Data Management (EDM)
• Inability to operate effectively within an Agile/Sprint delivery framework
