Regional Recruiter

We are hiring for a  R egional Recruiter at NearU, you will play a pivotal role in connecting qualified job seekers with our NearU branches and leadership, for placement in vital open roles throughout organization. This role will be a permanent role on a hybrid schedule, in the Charlotte office Mon-Thursday weekly, working from home on Fridays.

Position Summary - As an in-house Regional Recruiter at NearU, you will play a key role in connecting qualified job seekers with our branches and leadership for placement into high-impact roles across the organization. This position focuses on high-volume recruiting for field positions (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) for our branches in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers, branch leadership, and regional human resource manager's to deliver top-tier talent and an exceptional candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for 50-55 requisitions across multiple regions.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and Regional HR Managers to align on job requirements and hiring strategies.
  • Conduct intake meetings to clarify role expectations and success profiles.

Sourcing & Talent Outreach

  • Source active and passive candidates using job boards, resume databases, social media, and referral programs.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to attract qualified candidates for high-volume and corporate roles.
  • Represent NearU at career fairs and recruitment events.

Candidate Evaluation & Experience

  • Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Conduct phone interviews and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a smooth and professional experience.

Offer & Recruitment Operations

  • Extend offer letters and coordinate the offer process with hiring leaders.
  • Maintain accurate records in the ATS and HRIS systems.
  • Track and report weekly recruiting metrics and updates.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities meet compliance and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume and corporate hiring.
  • Proven ability to manage a heavy requisition load while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills—verbal, written, and active listening.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in behavioral interviewing, negotiation, and candidate assessment.
  • Experience in home services, skilled trades, or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
