Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Assistant / Legal Assistant to manage the full residential real estate closing process in a fast-paced law firm environment. This on-site role is based in Savannah, Tennessee.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate residential real estate closings from contract to post-closing
Prepare TRID disclosures and closing documents
Issue title commitments and title insurance policies
Manage escrow funds, disbursements, and treasury processes
Print and balance closing checks
Prepare closing packages using Microsoft Office
Communicate with lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers
Ensure compliance with regulatory and title insurance requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Closing Assistant or Legal Assistant
Experience in real estate closing or title environments
Proficient with SoftPro and/or Qualia
Experience with TRID disclosures, title commitments, and title policies
Skilled in printing/disbursing closing checks and treasury management
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a high-volume environment
Willing to relocate and work onsite daily in Savannah, Tennessee
