Overview

At The Buttery, our Pizza Cooks are at the heart of creating a staple on our dinner menu. This role is all about crafting exceptional pizzas- from stretching dough to building and firing each pie with precision and care. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, you’ll be part of a team that values quality, consistency, and genuine collaboration. Responsibilities

• Prepare and stretch pizza dough, assemble pies, and cook pizzas to spec in a high-volume environment.
• Operate and maintain pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all ingredients are prepped, stocked, and ready for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station, including proper food storage and labeling.
• Monitor product levels and support inventory management, minimizing waste.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep service smooth, timely, and consistent.
• Communicate clearly with team members and leadership around any issues with product, equipment, or flow of service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a high volume pizza kitchen is preferred. 
• Excellent time management, organizational, and listening skills. 
• Passion for hospitality and creating excellent meals.
• Be caring, self-motivated, and exhibit an aptitude for learning, teaching & teamwork.
