NJ/NY Gotham FC (“Gotham FC” or “the Club”) is a National Women’s Soccer League (“NWSL”) team representing New Jersey and New York. The team plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ. The Role

Gotham FC is seeking a Partnership Marketing Coordinator who will be a vital part of the Partnership Marketing Team at Gotham FC. The Partnership Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and fulfillment of Gotham FC partnership agreements. This is a dynamic role that cross-collaborates with the marketing, fan experience, ticket sales, communications, and soccer operations teams to execute successful partnership activations. This role will also provide direct administrative support as needed. The role demands excellent communication, time management, organizational, and client management skills. The ideal candidate is upbeat, a team player, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about women’s sports. Expected to perform at an industry-leading, best-in-class level, the coordinator role is a key stepping stone to a successful career in Corporate Partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Partnership Marketing Manager on the management and fulfillment of agreements for high-level partnership accounts.
  • Act as a key contact with assigned Partners (clients), maintain day-to-day relationships between Partners and internal departments.
  • Deliver thoughtful and innovative market Partnership Marketing concepts that achieve joint partner and Gotham FC objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and partners to ensure contracted assets are in place and activated. Assets include, but are not limited to, signage, events, media, and hospitality.
  • Evaluate performance of partnership marketing plans regularly and recommend adjustments based on observations as needed.
  • Track and report media metrics for partner activations across linear, social, and traditional media platforms.
  • Create partner activation, theme night, mid-year, and end-of-season recaps.
  • Support and manage hospitality for senior corporate guests.
  • Manage on-site partner activation including brand integration into Fan Fest, in-stadium giveaways, on-field presentations, etc.
  • Assist with additional team needs as assigned.
  • Maintain detailed partner databases and handle administrative tasks related to partnership agreements.
  • Coordinate logistics for partnership-related events.
  • Collaborate with the department to help monitor partnership progress and prepare regular reports on partnership status and impact.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging and promotion of partnerships, assisting in content creation and showcasing successful partnerships.
  • Lead LED signage minute tracking for each match.
  • Serve as the Partnerships team point-of-contact for partner-driven player appearances

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sports marketing/corporate partnerships experience preferred.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace. Experience in Canva, Zoomph, or Asana preferred.

Location

Based at Gotham FC’s business office, which is located at 15 Exchange Place Jersey City, New Jersey, on a hybrid working schedule which consists of three core in-office/in-person days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two non-core days (Monday and Friday), with the option of being in the business office or remote. Ability to attend all home games and any mandatory events as well as away games, as necessary. A willingness to travel for other business-related needs, as they arise. Ability to work at the team’s soccer operations office in Whippany, New Jersey, as needed. Gotham FC requires its associates to live in its market, that is, within reasonable commuting distance of Gotham FC’s offices, practice facility and Sports Illustrated Stadium.
