Order Picker
Location: WashingtonStaffmax is partnering with our client to hire reliable Order Pickers for a fast-paced distribution warehouse in Chicago. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, and enjoy working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners
Label and prepare shipments for delivery
Restock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy
Operate pallet jacks or electric riders (if certified)
Perform visual quality checks to ensure correct products are shipped
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Meet daily pick targets while following safety protocols
Requirements
6+ months of experience in a warehouse or order picking role
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer/scanner skills
