Grace Church School is a JK–12, independent school located on two nearby campuses in downtown New York City. Grace seeks a confident and creative math teacher who loves teaching middle school students. The ideal candidate values conceptual understanding and not just procedural fluency; brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction within the context of heterogeneous groups; will work collaboratively to implement curriculum; is committed to addressing social justice, diversity, equity, and anti-bias education; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; and takes professional growth seriously.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required.
Compensation
This is a full-time faculty position with an expected base salary of $70,000–$164,481 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.
