Job Description

Latitude Legal is seeking Washington State licensed Litigation Attorneys with at least 3 years of experience to join a boutique plantiff-side personal injury firm on a full-time, permanent basis in its Seattle office. This is a hybrid role (5 days a week for the first 12 weeks and then scale down to 3 days in office per week after that) and candidates must be based in the greater Seattle area.

The firm is hiring across levels and is open to strong litigators who can manage cases with increasing independence and contribute meaningfully to a collaborative, team-oriented office.

Attorneys in this office are expected to take ownership of cases early, develop practical litigation strategies, and work closely with partners on motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. This role is well-suited for litigators who want consistent courtroom exposure, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to build substantive personal injury experience within a supportive but hands-on environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including fact investigation, discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and appear in court as needed to advocate on behalf of injured clients
  • Evaluate liability, damages, and case value; develop case strategy to maximize client recovery and drive favorable settlements or trial outcomes
  • Work closely with partners and support staff to build strong cases, prepare for trial, and deliver high-quality client representation
  • Maintain organized case files, proactively manage deadlines, and effectively communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are:

  • Attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong preference for candidates with plaintiff-side personal injury experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage discovery, draft substantive motions, and take/defend depositions with increasing independence
  • Comfortable preparing cases for mediation and trial; courtroom experience is a plus
  • Strategic thinker who can assess exposure, identify leverage points, and execute defense strategy effectively
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Familiar with litigation billing and timekeeping requirements
  • Professional, collaborative, and motivated to work in a hybrid, team-oriented office environment
  • Licensed to practice law in Washington-State and in good standing
  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Based in or around Seattle area

Compensation :

  • Pay: The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $350,000+, plus applicable bonuses. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand. No billable hours expectation - performance is measured by fees brought in by successful settlements or verdicts.
  • Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
