JRIs Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral emotional and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home school and community. We are looking for interns working in their 2nd year of their clinical Masters degree program or Bachelors level students interested in pursuing community based work to join our Community Service Agency (CSA) team of Cape this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by supporting this mission. Our staff provide services in the communities where the people we serve live utilizing strength-based and needs-driven choices offering a team-based approach collaboration with the people we work with that is grounded in individualized services and the use of evidence-based practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum enrolled and working towards a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in the mental health field social work or psychology.
• Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents isrequired and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
• Must live on Marthas Vineyard.
• Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
• Background and driving record checks will be performed.
