Park West Gallery, the world's largest independent art dealer, is seeking a motivated sales professional to help clients discover and collect exceptional artwork in our Las Vegas gallery.

For more than 55 years, Park West Gallery has introduced millions of collectors to fine art through galleries, museums, online events, and luxury destinations around the world. We represent internationally recognized artists and provide clients with access to one of the most diverse collections in the industry.

We are looking for individuals who excel at building relationships, creating exceptional customer experiences, and converting opportunities into sales. Art experience is welcome, but sales talent, professionalism, and a consultative approach are what matter most.

Previous success in luxury retail, hospitality, automotive, real estate, business development, or other relationship-driven sales environments is highly valued.

Position Overview

As an Art Gallery Sales Consultant , you will engage with gallery visitors, collectors, and prospective buyers while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will build long-term client relationships, present artwork and collections, and guide clients through the purchasing process.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a relationship-focused sales approach, and the ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage visitors in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective collectors.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand client interests and collecting goals.
  • Present artwork, artists, and collections in an engaging and informative manner.
  • Follow up with prospective and existing clients by phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Manage the sales process from initial inquiry through final transaction.
  • Generate repeat business through exceptional customer service and relationship management.
  • Assist with gallery events, artist appearances, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate client and sales records.
  • Collaborate with client services and operational teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  • Consistently work toward individual and team sales goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, luxury retail, hospitality, business development, real estate, automotive sales, or another customer-facing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, identify customer needs, and close sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and presentation.
  • Art knowledge is welcomed but not required. We provide training on our artists, collections, and sales process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation consists of a monthly base salary of $3,658 plus commission opportunities and event-based earnings. Total compensation varies based on individual sales performance.

Schedule

Gallery Hours

  • Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Typical Shifts Include

  • 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM
  • 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Sunday – Thursday)
  • 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Friday – Saturday)

Employees are scheduled five days per week based on business needs. Schedules vary and typically include evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
