Job Title: Architectural Job Captain (AutoCAD Focus)
Location: Long Island, NY

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Job Captain to join our growing team on Long Island. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong expertise in AutoCAD-based production (not Revit-focused).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of construction documents using AutoCAD
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and internal team members
• Oversee drawing sets from schematic design through construction administration
• Ensure accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to project standards
• Mentor junior staff and maintain quality control across deliverables

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an architectural role, preferably as a Job Captain
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (this is an AutoCAD-heavy office)
• Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing
• Experience coordinating with engineering consultants
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience with commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
• Familiarity with Long Island / NYC building codes and permitting processes
